Main Emergency Dept. & Accident Centre

It is a busy emergency department and a “Window” of the hospital & is supervised by Consultants/Senior Registrars (Department of medicine and orthopedic department). It handles more than 415 patient per day or around 12500 patients per month (excluding peads Emergency).

An efficient main Emergency Department handles all kind of emergencies including trauma. It has facilities such as Central Oxygen, Central Suction, Defibrillators and Nebulization are readily available Stomach wash can also be given.

• A 24 hours service is provided, including proper CPR coverage.

• Separate Paediatric Emergency service is also well covered.

Chest Pain Centre

Chest pain centre is a unique facility introduced first time in Ittefaq Hospital Pakistan. It comprises attack unit, Evaluation (Triage) unit, 3 beds observation unit, patient education area. CPC-ED is linked with community education programme of Early Heart Attack Care(EHAC) supervised by department of clinical and interventional cardiology.
